Jugaaddict will pay attention to the following items:
The projet must have an innovative nature in comparison of former solutions. It can on the technical side, on the business model or both.
The entrepreneur must come from the local community: a native from the country or a long-term foreigner. The program is not designed to help foreign development programs.
Agriculture and Food
The entrepreneur must work in the agricultural or food field. All innovations around these topics can be accepted (i.e. Food storage, IT for agriculture etc...).
Local issue, global solution
The project must answer to an important local issue and have a potential to bring solutions in other part of the world. The evaluation of this potential is part of our methodology.
Jugaaddict believe that solutions to this issues in a world under more and more constraints will have to be affordable, simple, sustainable and qualitative: between tradition and technology, our food system need more ingenuity from both sides rather than ideology. This new ingenuity is already present in emerging countries which have no other options but to innovate under constraints and come with amazing ingenious and frugal innovations as M-Farm or EM3, and is also present in new innovating places like maker space.
